Thought I would share some gear choices under this topic that I like both new and old;

Wallet: Just using an ALL.ETT wallet. Have the larger executive version in leather. Very light and thin, even with all my plastic its half as thin as my previous leather bi-fold. It has a thin leather cover over a sturdy nylon interior. Having now seen the quality of the interior nylon I would go for the cheaper all nylon version of the same wallet if I was replacing it.

Phone cover: Have an ultra suede cover for my cell phone, from SFBags instead of a hard or rubber cover. Mine has the small stretchy pocket added on that is good for a blue tooth ear piece, a screen cloth, earphones, and spare cash or plastic. Always dropping the phone and find this has been good protection without the bulk of a cover.

EDC Small Bag: Maxpedition Anemone, just fitting it out as newly arrived. Very small but I believe it will hold a lot of gear and allow extra stuff to be clipped on. Easily holds a small camera, full size folder, some small and mid size tools and other EDC, but a little too tight for a 4 inch screen cell phone with the other gear inside. I will clip mine to a belt for the summer when I don't have enough pockets. Easy to access contents, with two full size (about 4 inch by 3 inch) padded pockets, a smaller interior pocket and an exterior pocket. Very sturdy looking.

Mid/Large Bag; Aerostich Courier Bag. I have been using the same bag for over twenty years, doing triple duty as carry on sized luggage, fishing tackle for summer and winter, and motorcycle riding (what it is supposedly made for). They come in other sizes with different names, smaller and larger. Nothing I have owned has worked better and lasted as long as this simple carry bag, and still looks good.
